Eastville Park already has a historic Lido, built in 1905, and the structure is still in place. It is currently used for community events and theatre performances.

This historic Lido is not the best location for any new Lido - it is used for other purposes, is too small and too far from services.

We are proposing the second unused bowling green site by the children’s play area for a new community outdoor swimming pool in the park.
